Software Engineer - Developer Tools (High Seniority)

Instabase is a global AI-driven platform company focused on enabling organizations to solve complex unstructured data challenges. They are looking for a highly senior Software Engineer to lead initiatives improving developer productivity through scalable infrastructure and internal tooling.

Skills

Expertise in CI/CD systems, build/test automation, internal tooling, or configuration management.
Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language such as Python, Go, or Java.
Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
Strong systems thinking with ability to design scalable, reliable systems.
Demonstrated technical leadership and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and development of scalable build, test, and deployment pipeline systems.
Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the developer experience from local development to CI/CD.
Design and build internal tools, frameworks, and services for fast and safe code delivery.
Own the reliability, performance, and scalability of key developer infrastructure systems.
Drive adoption of modern engineering tools, metrics, and observability within the organization.
Mentor and guide engineers via technical design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews.
Advocate engineering best practices and influence future platform architecture.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
