Operations Research Analyst III - Support Equipment

Overview

The Operations Research Analyst III - Support Equipment assists the Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Project Office (PO) and PEO AVN Enterprise, which is essential for performance of the materiel developer’s mission to support the war fighter. The UAS PO is tasked with developing, testing, fielding and maintaining the UAS Fleet to include a family of Small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (SUAS), Future Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (FTUAS), Gray Eagle, One System Remote Video Terminal (OSRVT), Launched Effects (LE), and Uncrewed Vehicle Control (UVC).

Responsibilities

• · Identify, plan, and develop the documentation to resource and acquire support equipment. The support equipment may include, common, mobile, fixed, and other specialized equipment required to sustain the operation and maintenance of the UAS over the lifecycle of the system.
• · Participate in support equipment related activities including but not limited to Support Equipment Requirements Document (SERD) reviews, design reviews, validation and verification efforts, logistics demonstrations, and test.
• · Develop, implement, and maintain current support equipment related program documentation, including the SERD, CARD, LCSP, and technical manuals.
• · Analyze and assess support equipment requirements to reduce and eliminate the number of tools and support required to maintain the UAS system. Implement standardization to the maximum extent possible, and determine supportability requirements necessary to sustain support equipment throughout the UAS lifecycle.
• · Plan and identify requirements necessary for fielding support equipment to the Warfighter.
• · Identify, plan, and assist with resourcing personnel with the grades and skills required to operate and maintain equipment and effectively support UAS over the lifecycle of the system.
• · Develop, implement, and maintain current Manpower and Personnel related program documentation, including but not limited to the Manpower Estimate Report (MER) and Manpower Requirements Criteria (MARC).
• · Develop purchase requests.
• · Perform risk analysis and develop program risk assessment consistent with price, Contractor capabilities, emerging technologies, Contractor cost performance, schedules and integration requirements, and incorporate Contractor cost performance information into cost estimating methodologies consistent with latest reports.

Qualifications

Required:

• · Bachelor's or Masters Degree with 8 years of related job experience gained after receiving the task related degree in engineering from an accredited institution. OR
• · Associates with 11 years of experience
• · Demonstrated experience performing detailed and complex calculations plus knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.
• · Secret Clearance
