Position Description
As a Senior Product Designer at Intus Care, you'll take a lead role in shaping the user experience and interface design of our healthcare operating system. Working closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and healthcare professionals, you'll drive the creation of intuitive, efficient, and visually captivating solutions that meet the diverse needs of our users.
Responsibilities:
Design Ownership: Take full ownership of the design direction of your projects, driving design initiatives from concept through execution, and aligning designs with user needs and business goals.
Healthcare and PACE Expertise: Proactively become an expert in the US healthcare domain, particularly focusing on PACE. Develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges, regulations, and workflows within PACE to ensure that designs are appropriate for users.
UI/UX Excellence: Drive the creation of design solutions from wireframes to interactive, high-fidelity prototypes that seamlessly blend aesthetics with functionality, elevating the overall user experience to new heights. Take the initiative on design system proposals that encourage consistency across the Intus Care product ecosystem.
Usability Testing and Iteration: Lead usability testing initiatives to validate design decisions, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive iterative design enhancements that deliver maximum value to users.
Accessibility Advocacy: Advocate for accessibility best practices and ensure our products are inclusive and accessible to users of all abilities, championing diversity and inclusion in design.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align on vision, requirements, and priorities, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Design Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in healthcare and design, sharing knowledge and insights to inspire innovation and drive continuous improvement.
Mentorship and Coaching: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering their growth and development as designers and professionals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
4+ years as a product designer, UI/UX designer, or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional user experiences in complex environments.
Expert proficiency in leading design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc., with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise and thought leadership.
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively lead and influence cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
