Full benefits, PTO Job Details Job Details: Our firm is seeking an experienced Permanent Litigation Associate with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional, well-versed in insurance defense, product liability, and business litigation. This individual will have the opportunity to work on complex cases, presenting unique challenges and opportunities for personal and professional growth. The candidate will also have significant experience in drafting pleadings, handling motions and hearings, as well as trial experience. If you are a self-starter with a passion for law, possess excellent legal writing skills, and are ready to take your career to the next level, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters, from commencement through conclusion, in a variety of practice areas including insurance defense and product liability. Draft and review pleadings and motions, and prepare for and attend hearings. Represent clients at trials, mediations, and settlement negotiations. Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients on appropriate legal action. Collaborate with team members and clients to develop effective litigation strategies. Maintain timely and accurate case documentation and correspondence. Work closely with partners and other associates on business litigation matters. Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations. Qualifications: Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. A minimum of 7 years of experience as a litigation associate in a law firm setting. Active member in good standing with the State Bar. Significant experience in insurance defense, product liability, and business litigation. Proven trial experience, including experience drafting pleadings, handling motions and hearings. Excellent legal writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professional discretion.
