Junior Technical Operations Engineer

LetsGetChecked is a global healthcare solutions company delivering at-home testing, virtual care, lab analysis, and prescription fulfillment across dozens of markets. The Junior Technical Operations Engineer will provide technical operations expertise to support and optimize our AWS-based platform, working across product engineering, cloud, and data teams to maintain reliability, performance, and compliance in a 24x7 distributed environment.

Skills

Hands-on experience in technical operations, DevOps, engineering, or data management.
Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and alerting tools and practices.
Ability to diagnose complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
Clear verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, shifting-priorities environment.

Responsibilities

Provide operational support and monitoring for the AWS platform to ensure reliability and uptime.
Participate in incident response, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate root cause analyses.
Analyze cloud services and data configurations to recommend performance and cost optimizations.
Monitor and report on service levels and SLAs, working with cross-functional teams to meet targets.
Communicate proactively with stakeholders and customers during incidents and change processes.
Produce periodic performance analysis and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Contribute to internal technical communities by documenting best practices and operational insights.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
Demonstrable practical experience (2+ years) in technical operations, DevOps, or similar roles.
