KAHINDO Marketing Internship

KAHINDO is an ethical womenswear fashion brand that creates wearable art with a social impact and is ethically made in Africa using fair trade practices, featuring bold colors and original prints inspired by the designer’s Congolese heritage and African upbringing and made for the global modern woman.

We are based in New York and are looking for 2 scrappy marketing interns. We’re looking for strategic, creative and problem-solving individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment. For these individuals, they have to be professional with a strong work ethic.

For this intern, no job is too big nor too small.

This is a virtual unpaid internship starting this Spring.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Social media strategy & implementation
• Build out an editorial calendar, research and identify key cultural moments based on marketing strategy.
• Email marketing
• E-commerce maintenance
• Branding
• Sales outreach and research
• Press research and outreach

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in an undergraduate program with the ability to earn school credit for participating.
• 8 weeks commitment
• Must be available: 10-15 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
