Position Overview:
KBR is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to serve as the Global Manager for the Server, Storage and Backup team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Compute & Communications, the successful candidate will lead global operations, strategy development, and technical oversight across KBR’s server, storage and backup platforms. This is a remote position requiring up to 25% travel annually.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead global strategy, architecture, implementation, and support of server storage and backup solutions leveraging Pure, NetApp, Cisco UCS, Rubrik, and Ansible technologies.
• Provide leadership and direction to regional leads and their teams in the Americas, APAC, and EMEA, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation to enhance the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of global infrastructure solutions.
• Oversee global compliance with ISO 20000, ISO 27000 standards, and direct annual SOX certification processes.
• Manage global operational documentation, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as the escalation point for critical global issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams including Security, Network, Compliance, and Enterprise Applications.
• Lead problem management processes within ServiceNow to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in server storage and backup infrastructure management, including at least 10 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing complex global IT infrastructure projects and teams.
• Extensive experience with compliance standards including ISO 20000, ISO 27000, and SOX controls.
• Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing global teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% annually.
• Ability to effectively operate in a fully remote global work environment.
