Manager of Supply Chain Optimization

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Manager of Supply Chain Optimization to lead initiatives focused on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall supply chain performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute projects aimed at enhancing supply chain operations.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to monitor performance metrics and generate reports to drive decision-making.
  • Implement best practices in supply chain management and maintain a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and efficiency in sourcing and delivery.
  • Facilitate training and support for team members on supply chain processes and optimization techniques.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to leverage for supply chain optimization opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or optimization roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficient in supply chain management software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management and capacity to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
