Full Stack Engineer, Feature Management

LaunchDarkly is a leader in feature management solutions, seeking a Full Stack Engineer to develop developer-focused tooling and features that improve software release control and efficiency. The role involves close collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams to enhance developer experiences throughout the software development lifecycle.

Skills

Expertise in building full stack web applications with strong coding and maintainability standards.
Familiarity with Typescript, React, Node, and Go preferred.
Experience working collaboratively with product and design teams in an iterative environment.
Strong code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
Excellent collaboration, communication, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn emerging technologies.
Experience utilizing AI tooling to improve engineering efficiency.

Responsibilities

Design and implement developer-first tooling including MCP servers and browser toolbars.
Understand and streamline developer workflows to enhance user experience.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX designers, and engineers.
Participate in architecture planning, code reviews, and mentoring peers on full-stack best practices.
Support production applications and participate in on-call rotations as part of a you-build-it-you-run-it culture.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or equivalent practical experience.
