Job Description

If you are looking for an outstanding opportunity to learn and grow, Nasburg Huggins Insurance, a Leavitt Group affiliate, in Coos Bay, OR is looking to add new talent to their team.

This position will work closely with the commercial lines manager in providing ongoing support to their commercial accounts.

Responsibilities are assisting as follows:

  • Prepare the applications for the submission with underwriting information provided by the producer

  • Daily ongoing relationship with Commercial Lines Account Manager and Commercial Lines Manager regarding specific deadlines and ongoing projects/tasks

  • Work with the service staff to meet timeline (deadlines)

  • Work with assigned Commercial Lines Account Manager and Account Executive on marketing procedures with discussed selected markets

  • Follow up with Markets for quotations.

  • Create the proposal under the direction of the Account Executive

  • Check for any discrepancy’s in submissions, proposals or other presentations

  • Make any proposal changes and quotations from client meeting with the Account Executive

  • Work with Account Executive to provide final documentation on for a customer

  • Obtain information and produce Certificate issuance for customers.

  • Check policies with Submission/quotation/proposal

  • Invoice and follow up on billing

  • Check endorsements against Account Executive requests

Qualifications

  • Must have strong computer software and in using Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Word

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills

  • Must have experience with carrier rating software

  • Must have a current P&C license

  • 3-4 years of experience preferred

  • AMS360 experience preferred

Beginning wages are dependent upon experience and existing insurance licensees will be considered.
