The ideal candidate will develop engaging customer education and service training videos , leverage their UX/UI expertise to enhance content and course usability, advocate for customer experience and success, and act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cross-functional teams. This role requires a creative problem-solver who can merge technical knowledge with design expertise to drive meaningful customer learning and service training experiences.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with the team to: (1) determine the objectives of the service and customer education content flow, functionality and requirements; (2) discuss storyboards, scripts, or other project goals and requirements; and (3) help plan, design, and develop multimedia needed to fulfill project goals as declared by stakeholdersWorks with the extended team and internal stakeholders project by project or collectively to produce multimedia assets, including videos, training material, graphic design, UX/UI improvements, and web developmentDesigns and produces high-quality customer-facing and service videos that explain technical concepts effectively for a broad audienceDevelops and collaborates on video scripts, storyboards, animations, and multimedia content in alignment with project goalsProvides guidance about best practices for UX/UI across a variety of training platforms, products, and multimedia assetsCollaborates with stakeholders to ensure video and learning content aligns with business objectives and brand guidelinesAnalyzes user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement within training materialsDesigns intuitive interfaces and workflows for multimedia assets and learning platformsActs as a technical SME to support other teams, offering insights into multimedia development, computer technology, and best practicesStays updated on emerging technologies and trends in multimedia, AI, UX/UI and learning designCollaborates with IT and engineering teams to ensure compatibility of multimedia content with various platforms and systemsTrains and mentors internal teams on multimedia tools and best practices as neededRequired Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProven ability to design, develop, deliver and deploy effective multimedia-based training solutions in various formats and across multiple modalities, including video products and web-based mediaExtensive knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro 2023, Adobe After Effects 2023, Adobe Media Encoder 2023)Experience in shooting videos in a studio environment with extensive knowledge in lighting, audio setup, etc.Extensive knowledge of audio editing software (Adobe Audition 2023, Audacity) with the ability to record professional narration in a sound booth environmentExtensive knowledge of graphics editing software (Adobe Photoshop 2023, Adobe Illustrator 2023)Extensive knowledge of web design and development with proven ability to work within proprietary content management systemsDemonstrated knowledge of best practices for UX/UI design across a variety of multimedia typesDemonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing project demandsProven ability to work efficiently and successfully with internal clients and SMEs at all levels within the organizationProven ability using AI-based tools for multimedia development, including text-to-speech voiceover and video productionExperience working with content management systems to deploy and maintain web-based productsExhibits effective communication skills (both verbal and written)Excels in collaborating with teammates and stakeholders to determine the appropriate level of multimedia complexity for target audience and learning objectivesBasic Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in creative and multimedia arts & design, learning technologies, or related disciplines OR equivalent years of experience3+ years of experience in designing, developing and delivering multimedia-based training solutions in various formats and across multiple modalities with an emphasis on videography and web designWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.Additional Locations :United States of America - North Carolina - MorrisvilleUnited States of AmericaUnited States of America - North CarolinaUnited States of America - North Carolina - Morrisville
