LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST Groundwork Therapy | Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY Ability to earn $150,000-$165,000 your first year and increase from there. Our practice is actively seeking a licensed psychologist to join our team ASAP. We were founded in 2018 and serve adults living and working in Central Brooklyn. Our client population consists largely of individuals in their mid-20's to mid-40's, including couples, university students, newlyweds, new parents, and early career professionals in tech, performing arts, and creative fields. Additionally, we specialize in gender and sexual diversity. You can get a better sense of us at www.groundworktherapybrooklyn.comDuties:• Hold a minimum of 25 45-minute therapy sessions per week (individual and/or couples)• Complete a simple session note following each appointment.• Attend weekly group supervision with entire staff.• Attend weekly individual supervision.• Attend monthly staff meeting.• **Psychologist is NOT responsible for client recruitment or billing***The best fit for this position is a psychologist who:• Works from a contemporary psychodynamic, relational/interpersonal orientation• Uses a sexuality and gender affirmative therapy approach.• Has experience and/or interest in working clients who are members of the LGBTQI+ communities.• Is flexible and active in practice, adept at meeting each client according to their individual needs and capabilities.• Has experience and/or interest in couples/relationship therapy.• Enjoys long-term relationships with clients and depth-oriented therapy.Requirements:• Doctorate degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology• Licensed in the state of New York• Psychodynamic relational/interpersonal orientation (integrative in interventions)• Availability evenings until 9PM (we have a high demand for evening appointments)Pay & Benefits:• This is an employment (W-2) position paid according to clinical services rendered.• Licensed psychologists with good client retention will earn about $150,000 their first year.
