Data Pipeline Engineer

Lucid Motors is pioneering luxury electric vehicles with a focus on innovation and sustainability. They are seeking a Data Pipeline Engineer to develop and maintain data processing pipelines for their Autonomous Driving systems, working with cross-domain teams to enhance AI/ML models and data management.

Skills

Proficiency in Python and/or Golang programming languages.
Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
Professional expertise with AWS cloud services and Kubernetes deployment.
Capability in developing parallel-processing software and containerized backend microservices.

Responsibilities

Devise, develop, and maintain Autonomous Driving data processing pipelines on AWS, Kubernetes, and on-prem servers.
Develop scalable microservices following industry standards and deploy on Kubernetes clusters.
Manage structured and unstructured data from vehicle sensors including cleaning, parsing, processing, and visualization.
Optimize data storage, search, and processing utilizing diverse storage solutions and big data frameworks.
Collaborate with multiple cross-domain teams including data collection, machine learning, and external vendors to create tailored software solutions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
