Job Description

Exciting Opportunity: Per Diem Revenue Integrity Analyst

Reporting to the Revenue Integrity Manager, the Per Diem Revenue Integrity Analyst serves as a subject matter expert in a high profile group tasked with improving revenue results across Memorial Sloan Kettering. In this role, you will take a global view of clinical and financial processes, functions, and interdependencies from the provisions of patient care to final bill generation. Role Overview:  

• Analyze and process EPIC work/error que data and preform root cause analysis
• Execute work plans to correct identified deficiencies
• Analyze daily/weekly/monthly work que data including Revenue Guardian holds, charge review, and claim edits to correct negative trends, high volume failures, and improve end to end work flow 
• Proactively identified problems or opportunities for improvements related to clinical orders, clinical documentation, and preference lists that are or should be linked to professional and/or hospital charge records

Key Qualifications: 

• EPIC experience is required
• 4 yrs. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare OPPS reimbursement and other third-party billing rules and coverage.  
• Computer skills required include the advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, and Word. 

Core Skills: 

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to review, analyze and interpret payor payment policies, billing guidelines, and state and federal regulations. 
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate evolving business needs. 
• Superb communication skills 

Additional Information: 

Location: Remote USA

Work Schedule: Flexible, 10 hours per week on average

Reporting to: Revenue Integrity Manager

Pay Range:$65/hr
