Frontend Engineer - Creative Products

Mercury is a fintech company blending creativity and engineering to build innovative financial products. They seek a Frontend Engineer skilled in React and TypeScript to maintain and enhance their web platform and CMS, collaborating closely with designers to create engaging user experiences.

Skills

3-5 years frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of web platform fundamentals.
Experience working on content-driven sites leveraging a CMS.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to empathize with users and create lovable products.
Creative problem solving and balancing tradeoffs to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance a fast, accessible frontend web platform and its CMS (Dato).
Improve the demo experience to showcase Mercury’s capabilities to potential customers.
Build new tools that support company founders.
Collaborate with designers to infuse the marketing site and web application with creative UI delights.
Lead larger experiential projects to help grow Mercury’s presence.

Education

Relevant technical education or equivalent experience in software development.
