Regional Vice President, Operations - Home Health

The Regional Vice President (RVP), Operations is responsible for driving the business strategy, achieving company goals and growth targets, leading an operations team, including clinicians, staying up-to-date with business trends, and ensuring that company policies and standards are met by each of the identified business centers. The RVP will also manage their assigned territories and establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with all departments and designated agency leaders.


Responsibilities:
  • Setting operations strategy, clear direction, effective plans, and measurable outcomes
  • Ensuring work is accomplished effectively by managing employee performance, work processes and other resources.
  • Developing and engaging talent to support current and future business needs.
  • Driving continuous improvement at our locations and supporting technology enhancements that drive margin growth and productivity.
  • Ensuring that our KPIs align to effective and successful business outcomes.
  • Alignment across key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managers must possess both the skills to effectively accomplish these tasks and the emotional intelligence to do so in alignment with our cultural values.

In addition to the critical management and leadership tasks listed above, this role also includes the following unique responsibilities:
  • Aid in the review and analysis of financial, clinical, and operational performance indicators.
  • Responsible for filling in as the Agency Director/Administrator in the event the position is vacant.
  • Develop and implement effective clinical and business plans.
  • Work with location leadership to ensure effective report management and interpretation of KPIs.
  • Attract, develop, and retain key talent in the territory.
  • Travel required per business needs.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of operations experience in healthcare, strongly prefer in home health.
  • Current, unencumbered RN, PT, CRNP, MD, DPT or similar healthcare licensure required.
  • Experience managing annual operating budgets, and developing and executing annual strategic plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal and State regulations and requirements that govern home health agencies.
  • Proven ability to maintain good regulatory compliance and clinical outcomes.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop and mentor staff.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
