Software Engineer, Fullstack - job 1 of 2

Mixpanel is a leading event analytics platform used by over 9,000 customers including major companies like Netflix and Pinterest. They are seeking full stack software engineers with 2-4 years experience to contribute across the entire stack, build impactful features, and enhance user experience with ownership and autonomy.

Skills

Experience with full stack development across UI, API, and database layers
Proficiency in Python and JavaScript frameworks
Familiarity with web application architecture and design principles
Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud, and containerization tools
Strong problem-solving and pragmatic solution delivery skills

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to define and deliver intuitive UX features
Own key product components, maintain them, and advocate for continuous improvements
Develop UI and backend endpoints across the stack using Python, Django, and JavaScript
Work with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Docker for deployment and orchestration
Build scalable, secure features like public metric sharing and query tools enhancing user workflows

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
