SCORM Course Builder

We are seeking a skilled and creative SCORM Course Builder to join our digital learning team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in developing SCORM-compliant eLearning modules, excellent English content creation skills, and practical experience using AI tools like ChatGPT to streamline and enhance course development.

In addition to course creation, this role also involves liaising with governmental authorities to ensure course content meets relevant standards and can be approved for public distribution and sale.

  • Design and build interactive eLearning courses in English that are SCORM 1.2 and/or SCORM 2004 compliant.
  • Use ChatGPT to generate, refine, and optimize educational content, assessments, and multimedia scripts.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and instructional designers to develop engaging, accurate, and learner-friendly modules.
  • Create quizzes, knowledge checks, and learning activities using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, etc.
  • Conduct internal testing and debugging of SCORM packages to ensure proper LMS compatibility.
  • Ensure courses meet accessibility and usability standards.

  • Reach out to governmental or regulatory authorities as needed to:
    • Understand approval requirements.
    • Submit course materials for review.
    • Follow up on approvals or changes required for course eligibility for public distribution.
  • Maintain detailed records of communications and compliance documentation related to government approvals.
  • Optimize learning content for different devices (responsive/mobile-friendly design).
  • Continuously iterate and improve course quality based on feedback and learner performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience creating SCORM-compliant eLearning courses (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong English writing and content creation skills.
