Across all IM teams, the curriculum is designed to equip Summer Analysts with the fundamental skills they need to be successful in IM. During the 10-week program, Summer Analysts experience the culture and atmosphere of Morgan Stanley by performing a role similar to a Full-Time Analyst.This role within the MSIM Specialty Solutions Group will work directly with equity portfolio managers and analysts on research projects throughout the summer.Role and Responsibilities• Learn the skills necessary to perform the role of an Equity Analyst, providing research on sectors, industries and individual companies• Monitor applicable investment metrics and present findings to internal stakeholders• Assist in preparing models from data in company filings and complex spreadsheets as requested (Using 10Ks, 10Qs, Income Statement, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statement)• Learn to use various market data systems effectively, including Bloomberg, FactSet and Thomson-Reuters products• Keep current with market developments, industry, and stock research Qualifications and Skills• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree and will graduate between December 2025 and June 2026• Strong analytical skills• Exceptional academic performance and communication skills, both verbal and written• Ability to function independently and to collaborate effectively• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and effectively• Detail-oriented, accurate, reliable Expected base pay rate for the role will be $43.27 per hour at the commencement of employment.
