Learning Design Lead

The Learning Design Lead will oversee and actively contribute to designing and developing high-quality learning programs for diverse audiences across various delivery formats, including in-class training and blended approaches.

The role emphasizes creating content that maximizes impact, supports new skills acquisition, enhances existing competencies, promotes knowledge transfer, and encourages practical application in real-world settings. 

 

The Learning Design Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts (SMEs), inhouse and freelance instructional designers, learning tech specialists, and stakeholders, to develop scalable, inclusive, and adaptive learning solutions. 

 

Additionally, the Learning Design Lead will leverage both a strategic vision and a deep understanding of

instructional design principles to contribute to the development of Nawy’s Learning Estate curriculum and to drive measurable learning outcomes that enhance employee performance and engagement.

  • Assist in the strategic planning & budgeting of the Learning Estate programs & initiatives.
  • Participate with the Learning Director and the team in identifying the function’s strategic objectives.
  • Create a scalable and comprehensive framework/ strategy for learning content design, focused on ensuring content is relevant, consistently up to date, and aligned with Nawy and The Learning Estate's strategic objectives.  
  • Ensure the content of all learning programs (internally or externally designed) aligns with organizational objectives, corporate culture, desired competencies, and the Learning Estate's tone of voice, personality, and quality standards.
  • Ensure all Nawy's Learning Estate learning programs are designed around the main principles of quality education, expert-driven real estate knowledge, and immersive learning experience.
  • Oversee and actively participate in the development of tailored learning solutions and assets across different formats and delivery methods (instructor-led, blended, long-form, and microlearning interventions, performance support tools, etc.).
  • Leverage best practices and established learning design theories (e.g., Bloom's Taxonomy, Kirckpatrick's Evaluation Model, etc.), ensuring that all learning experiences are learner centric, reflective of current trends in adult learning theory and include appropriate quality and impact measuring mechanisms (from a content & learning design perspective).
  • Embed certification mechanisms and knowledge, skills, and behavioral assessments across all learning interventions designed under Nawy's Learning Estate
  • Work with the extended Learning Estate team to support in defining the learning curriculum and learning calendar/ schedule.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify learning objectives and align learning programs with business goals.
  • Lead the learning needs analysis efforts, partnering with subject matter experts, department heads, and business leaders to identify learning needs and potential skill gaps and define learning priorities.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality learning content.
  • Measure the impact and efficiency of the designed programs using specific metrics such as, but not limited to, knowledge retention rates, learner feedback, and business performance indicators.
  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness and engagement of learning programs.

  • Education Bachelor’s degree (Highly preferable): Professional certification in learning design, learning experience or related field.
  • Experience Min. 5 years of experience in learning content design (Highly preferable: Real Estate experience, experience with training delivery & facilitation).
  • Tech Experience Mandatory: MS Office, proficiency using digital design tools (e.g. Canva), proficiency using collaborative tools (e.g. Microsoft Team, Zoom etc.) Preferable: Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate), knowledge of AI based learning tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Jasper AI etc.)
