Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The Coordinator works with the Senior Director, VP, and SVP on the Global Partnership Marketing team.  The group is responsible for building, developing and executing strategic partnerships between corporate businesses and Universal Filmed Entertainment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to VP and SVP of the Domestic Partnership team
  • Manage schedules and coordinate meetings with internal and external parties
  • Create and maintain weekly agendas, synthesize meeting recaps, and share supporting materials for various internal and external meetings
  • Support the team in the creative development of partner promotional campaigns
  • Coordinate asset requests for creative execution and setup for partner distribution including promotional guides, character artwork and film footage
  • Assist with sweepstakes rule review, facilitating feedback, fulfillment, etc.
  • Oversee content, logistics and execution for team’s special events and screenings
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and other documents on an as-needed basis
  • Book meeting rooms, coordinate refreshments, RSVPs, drive-ons, attendee directions, etc.
  • Coordinate travel schedules and arrangements
  • Maintain departmental budgets, including updating budget grids, facilitating billing and creating POs
  • Prepare and process expense reports in accordance with established divisional travel policy guidelines and reconcile team corporate card charges
  • Interact with other department employees to facilitate the completion of all duties and responsibilities

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 1 + years of experience in a marketing/administration role
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel and Photoshop desired
  • Exceptional organizational skills

Desired Characteristics:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to demonstrate a visionary, strategic, and creative mindset, with a flexible working style adaptable to evolving priorities and team dynamics
  • Strong preference for candidates with corporate-level experience in entertainment promotions, partnership marketing, or related marketing field
  • Collaborative, creative, resourceful, with strong problem-solving skills, follow-through, and the ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate strong initiative and perseverance and adept at multi-tasking
  • Bachelor’s degree

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $26.00 - $32.00 hourly rate (not bonus eligible).
