Job Description

As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in pre-sales activities, working closely with our Federal Government and clients to understand their business needs to craft compelling proposals that deliver business value. You will support our senior leadership, in showcasing our capabilities to customers. You will be the driving force behind creating cutting-edge, comprehensive solution architectures that consider scalability, performance, and security.

You will collaborate and partner closely with our clients to design end-to-end solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.  This role demands a deep understanding of clients' technology landscapes and the ability to architect compelling solutions that meet their business strategies.  You will be responsible for architectural decisions ensuring solutions are compliant with industry regulations, standards and best practices. Alongside this you'll also be responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing team and culture through talent development and knowledge sharing.

You will work closely with sales teams to highlight the business value of large solutions, ensuring alignment with client strategies. Your responsibilities include delivering presentations and technical workshops to explain complex concepts, responding to RF(x) requests with tailored solutions, and developing compelling value propositions. You will need a deep understanding of clients' technology landscapes to inform strategic recommendations and participate in strategic sales planning, ensuring IT initiatives meet both client and company goals.

You will architect scalable and secure solutions across various industries, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You'll create solution documentation and architecture diagrams to guide implementation, collaborate with capability teams to meet technical and business requirements, and manage risks to ensure designs comply with regulations. Additionally, you will provide governance during the delivery phase to maintain architectural integrity and alignment with the original design.

You will engage with senior stakeholders to understand their business needs and challenges, and work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure solution alignment. You will clearly communicate architectural decisions and strategies to stakeholders at all levels, maintain a professional presence in client-facing situations, and build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.

Get ready to lead the way in shaping the future of Solutions & Architecture! An exciting career awaits where you'll work with innovative technology solutions, perfect your skills alongside a talented team, and enjoy the recognition, progression, and extensive benefits of a multinational organisation.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a tech consultancy, systems integrator or professional services company supporting Federal Government and Defence clients.
  • Extensive experience in pre-sales, enterprise architecture, and solutions architecture, with a strong track record of success.
  • Proven ability to develop and present compelling proposals to senior-level stakeholders.
  • Exceptional consulting skills, with the ability to quickly understand client needs and align them with large, tailored solutions that extend client value.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering IT solutions across multiple industries, including finance, healthcare, retail, enterprise and government.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring teams of architects and technical staff.
  • Solid commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of digital transformation and enterprise architecture principles.
  • Ability to drive innovation, problem-solve under pressure, and make strategic decisions that support business goals.
