Description
The Program Manager is responsible for supporting the development,
implementation and evaluation of WERC projects and programs.
Project Development
· Guide project work plans
· Engage and collaborate with external stakeholders (employer partners, educational agencies, community based organizations) and internal staff (project managers, curriculum developers, instructors and case managers) in the development of projects
· Assist program Director in the development of project plans including developing project goals and objectives, scope and expectations, roles and responsibilities and an evaluation framework
Project Implementation
· Build and maintain relationships with project participants during all phases of the project and when necessary, provide direct service to participants
· Take the lead in maintaining ongoing communication with external stakeholders and agencies
· Develop systems and workflows to ensure that all project information and activity is appropriately collected and completed
· Create and use appropriate tools to monitor project progress
· Adjust project activities as needed, based off lessons learned, to continually refine processes and improve outcomes
Project Evaluation
· Ensure project goals and deliverables are met, within budget and meet high quality standards
· Prepare and present project reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
Requirements
Education and Experience
· Relevant degree in a related field and/or prior experience planning and managing projects
· Excellent analytical and organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
