Lead QA Engineer

Skills

Responsibilities

Serve as the quality leader for a product domain and take accountability for product quality.
Track quality tasks, analyze testing needs, and define QA activities and ownership.
Continuously analyze and improve existing test coverage and plans.
Develop and oversee execution of test strategies across the domain.
Lead QA efforts aligned with product goals to ensure rapid and confident product release.
Define and monitor strategic quality KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Embed quality throughout the SDLC, including acceptance criteria and automated testing.
Standardize and evolve QA processes to scale testing efforts effectively.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps to leverage automation for regression prevention.
Plan and lead non-functional requirements (NFR) testing.
Define and promote quality best practices for engineering groups.
Coordinate testing activities across regions and organizations.
Mentor QA leaders and engineering managers to build a culture of ownership and accountability.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
