Director, Accounting

Niron Magnetics is an innovative company commercializing breakthrough magnetic materials and advanced manufacturing processes. They seek a Director of Accounting to oversee accounting operations, implement Microsoft Dynamics 365, and build a strong accounting team within a growing manufacturing environment.

Skills

Strong technical accounting skills and GAAP knowledge
Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
Excel proficiency
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication with financial and non-financial stakeholders

Responsibilities

Lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation and optimization
Develop and mentor the accounting team fostering accountability and collaboration
Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts
Develop and enforce accounting policies to ensure GAAP compliance
Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial processes
Ensure timely reporting to investors, lenders, and stakeholders
Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
CPA certification strongly preferred
