Implementation Project Manager - Meter Data Management (MDM)

NISC is a company focused on implementing Smart Grid technology solutions for utilities. They are looking for an Implementation Project Manager to lead projects involving the integration of Meter Data Management Systems with Automated Metering Infrastructure. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, capable of managing multiple short-term projects, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

Proficient with legacy technology stacks such as C++, Java, PHP
Experience with product implementation or usage (2-5 years preferred)
Knowledge of utility CC&B, MDMS, and AMI systems
Project management fundamentals
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Customer service and problem-solving skills
Data analysis and interpretation skills
Basic troubleshooting and change management understanding
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

Responsibilities

Setup, configure, test, and integrate 3rd party AMI systems with NISC MDMS
Define and manage project scopes, expectations, and timelines with customers
Coordinate equipment life cycle workflows with vendors and technologies
Lead testing of automated reading processes and VEE within the MDMS
Analyze and map reading data into the MDMS
Provide usage information and best practices to customers
Validate accuracy of converted data
Deliver application support throughout project lifecycles
Prepare and track Change Requests
Perform after-hours support as assigned

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience
