Utility Integration Analyst

NISC is seeking a Utility Integration Analyst to join their Professional Services team to coordinate and validate third-party software integrations for utility systems. The role combines business processes, vendor collaboration, and technical system knowledge to ensure seamless integration of NISC’s software with external platforms.

Skills

Experience with utility systems integration or enterprise software implementation.
Familiarity with AMI, GIS, Billing, or Outage Management utility domains.
Working knowledge of REST, SOAP, and MultiSpeak integration protocols.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

Serve as liaison between NISC, utility members, and third-party vendors to define integration requirements and success criteria.
Coordinate and validate integration efforts using standards such as MultiSpeak (SOAP/XML) and REST APIs.
Lead discovery sessions to map utility member workflows to integration touchpoints.
Document integration specifications, test plans, and support procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless deployment and sustainability of integrations.
Provide guidance on interoperability certification and vendor onboarding.
Perform other assigned duties.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business-related field or equivalent experience.
