Compensation & Incentives

• Salary Range: $45.68 – $68.51/hour (based on experience)

• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Nurse Manager of Emergency Services to lead operations in a high-acuity emergency department, including oversight of both a main ED and a free-standing ED. This role carries 24-hour accountability for patient care, staff engagement, and performance improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for the main ED and free-standing ED

• Oversee ~65 FTEs across 30+ emergency beds plus an 8-bed FSED

• Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care for diverse patient populations

• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and leadership to optimize patient outcomes

• Manage staffing, scheduling, budgets, and departmental resources

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with standards and regulations

• Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and staff development

Required:

• BSN degree (MSN preferred)

• Active RN license in Texas or Compact state

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ER leadership/supervisor experience

• Current clinical practice within the last 3 years

• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be maintained)

• PALS or ENPC certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire)

Preferred:

• National specialty certification (CEN, CNRN, CCRN, or equivalent)

• Prior leadership experience in large ED settings
