Skills
Management of environmental investigations and remediation projects.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Contract management and budgeting.
Technical advisory skills in environmental health and safety.
Experience with regulatory agencies such as DTSC, RWQCB, and SCAQMD.
Responsibilities
Review and coordinate work by environmental site assessment contractors including Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and Remedial Investigations.
Assist in contract development and oversight of remediation contractors.
Establish and maintain project budgets and schedules related to environmental investigations and remediation.
Provide technical advice to OEHS management for contractor oversight and budget control.
Prepare and coordinate environmental review processes aligning with Facilities Services Division requirements.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
