Senior Software Engineer, Monetization Team (Fullstack or Backend)

OneSignal is a leading omnichannel customer engagement platform that supports over a million businesses globally. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Monetization team focusing on backend or fullstack development to build scalable infrastructure powering enterprise client operations and growth.

Skills

6+ years professional software development experience
Experience building scalable backend systems, especially billing, authentication, or enterprise governance
Proficiency or strong willingness to learn Rust and/or Golang
Experience with AI tools integrated in developer workflow
Database experience with PostgreSQL or ScyllaDB
Familiarity with distributed event streaming frameworks like Apache Kafka
Experience with Google Cloud Platform
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Ability to design RESTful APIs and gRPC services
Capable of working independently in uncertain environments while focusing on scalable, long-term solutions

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product, Design, and Sales/Success teams to translate enterprise requirements into scalable platform solutions
Participate in peer code and technical design spec reviews to elevate code quality
Resolve production issues ensuring system stability and scalability
Perform data analysis and performance monitoring for system optimizations
Lead initiatives to unblock enterprise customer operations and accelerate growth
Stay current with industry trends and leverage AI tools in workflows

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
