Who You Are 


To support our rapidly expanding business, Ontic is seeking an experienced Vice President of Strategic Solutions Group with a proven track record in promoting transformational strategies for B2B SaaS products. In this role, you’ll work with Ontic’s Chief Product Officer and our sales organization to influence corporate security leaders at the world’s largest brands. Your role will involve selling the vision and value of transformation, guiding leaders in operationalizing their strategies, and assisting them in presenting these strategies to critical stakeholders and decision-makers. As an internal consultant, you will collaborate closely with account managers, enterprise account executives, solutions architects, and go-to-market teams to develop repeatable strategies that support a new consolidation-driven sales motion.


You will seamlessly transition between high-level strategy and hands-on execution, designing systems, processes, and playbooks to drive significant expansion and new business growth. With strategic agility, you will also continuously assess market dynamics, client needs, and identify new opportunities for Ontic.


Key Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of relevant experience, with a strong background in management consulting and deep expertise in complex B2B SaaS go-to-market strategy and execution
Client-facing Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and evangelism of Ontic's external consolidation strategy with senior security leaders at the world’s largest brands
  • Serve as a trusted advisor both externally and internally, driving large-scale transformations across security functions and tactfully positioning Ontic as the leading solution for successful transformations.
  • Collaborate with our most strategic clients, prospects and sales teams to promote Ontic’s unified platform strategy, validate client needs and solutions, develop business cases and create frameworks for scalable, repeatable playbooks and processes.
  • Advocate for new product capabilities, acting as an evangelist for Ontic's solutions.
  • Leverage consulting expertise to identify opportunities for technology stack consolidation and transformation with large customers, providing strategic guidance throughout the process.
  • Represent Ontic at industry events, delivering thought leadership and promoting Ontic's vision.
Go-to-Market Responsibilities:
  • Design repeatable playbooks, frameworks, and process checklists to facilitate strategic customer transformations, ensuring scalability and adoption throughout Ontic.
  • Guide customer-facing teams (sales, solutions architects) in effectively positioning Ontic's platform solutions, building business justifications, and executing transformation initiatives.
  • Maintain cross-functional alignment across sales, marketing, client success, product, and operations teams, ensuring cohesive execution of Ontic's product solutions strategy and transformation initiatives.
Strategic Responsibilities: 
  • Collaborate closely with product development teams, translating market insights into product strategy that address identified gaps and solidify Ontic's market leadership.
  • Partner with sales and marketing to develop compelling value propositions, business cases, and go-to-market strategies that resonate with customers and drive solution adoption.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion into new regions or industry verticals, driving growth and diversification.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote our solutions and enhance brand visibility.


Qualifications
  • B2B SaaS experience (15+ years) with a strong background in management consulting and deep expertise in complex B2B SaaS go-to-market strategy and execution.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to work on ambiguous problems and make informed decisions with a mix of data and intuition
  • Strong technical knowledge of software platforms and communicating the value they deliver to users and organizations
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management for conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to inform and adjust GTM strategy 
  • Experience partnering with product, engineering, marketing, operations, client success and sales to define and execute campaigns 
  • People management experience with extensive cross-functional collaboration
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business preferred.

$210,000 - $230,000 a year
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of a total compensation package that also includes benefits and other perks at Ontic. This role also includes a bonus plan and a company equity grant.
