About the Team
Our Robotics team is focused on unlocking general-purpose robotics and pushing towards AGI-level intelligence in dynamic, real-world settings. Working across the entire model stack, we integrate cutting-edge hardware and software to explore a broad range of robotic form factors. We strive to seamlessly blend high-level AI capabilities with the physical constraints of physical robotic platforms.
About the Role
As a TPM Manager on the Robotics team, you will help shape the next generation of embodied AI. You’ll be involved in evaluating and refining new physical configurations—integrating novel sensors, actuators, and computational elements to bring our advanced models into the real world. You’ll also be responsible for spearheading the logistics of our data-gathering lab, including ensuring contract workers have what they need to gather data from our test set-ups. This role offers the chance to influence how our AI scales beyond simulation, ensuring that each design, test, and iteration moves us closer to truly adaptive, versatile robotic systems.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have at least 10 years of consumer or industrial electronics experience.
Have experience driving program goals across engineering functions and with outside vendors, and you have managed complexity design engineering deliverables. Willing to roll up sleeves and contribute wherever needed as we stand up the initial teams.
Have experience defining program requirements, setting priorities, and establishing roadmaps and long-term strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project lifecycle tasks, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and deployment, while identifying and addressing dependencies, risks, and changes
Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Solve complex problems as they arise, whether in the lab or in product work.
Provide day-to-day coordination for projects and tasks. Help drive process and communications improvements across multiple teams and functions both internal and external.
Experience leading teams of over 5 FTEs or dozens of contract workers.
