Job Summary: 


We're seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager to lead the development of our common UI components platform. As a Sr. Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, roadmap, and requirements for our UI component platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure that our UI components meet the needs of our internal customers and external users.


Responsibilities:
  • Define the product vision, roadmap, and requirements for our UI component platform, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and maintain a robust, scalable, and maintainable UI component platform.
  • Work closely with design teams to ensure that our UI components meet the company's design standards and are user-friendly.
  • Develop business cases and prioritize features based on customer needs, market trends, and technical feasibility.
  • Create and maintain technical product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with stakeholders across the company to gather feedback, identify pain points, and prioritize features.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers, including product teams, to ensure that our UI components meet their needs.
  • Analyze data and metrics to inform product decisions and measure the success of our UI component platform.
  • Communicate product plans, roadmaps, and results to stakeholders, including executives, engineers, designers, and product teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity in the UI component space.
  • Select appropriate metrics to measure the success of the program and highlight trends or themes from raw data.


Requirements and Preferred Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical product management, with a focus on developer platforms or UI components.
  • 8+ years experience in program or project management
  • Strong technical background, with experience in front-end development, UI design, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and metrics-driven decision making.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of modern front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Experience with design systems and UI component libraries.
  • Track record of making risk based decisions.
  • Experience evaluating data to understand trends and support decision making.
  • Experience influencing and driving alignment amongst a wide stakeholder base, including: senior leaders, peers, technical, and non-technical stakeholders across roles across the company.
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented and a proactive problem solver, and delivering results at a large scale.


$142,800 - $161,000 a year
On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.  

The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
