Procurement Agent - Fragrance Raw Materials & General Operations

Osmo is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Agent to manage the sourcing and purchasing of fragrance raw materials and general procurement for operational needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in fragrance ingredients, packaging materials and inventory control in support of the operation’s goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Fragrance Raw Materials Procurement:

  • Source and purchase fragrance ingredients such as essential oils and aroma chemicals.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with fragrance raw material suppliers and vendors.

  • Own the in-house ingredients palette portfolio, stock levels, and re-order points.

  • Research pricing and delivery schedules to optimize cost savings and ensure timely supply.

  • Collaborate with laboratories, regulatory, and production teams to ensure achievement of operational goals.

• General Procurement for Operations:

  • Source and procure packaging, bottles, and ancillary for fragrance filling & packaging operations.

  • Manage procurement processes for facility maintenance and office operations.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to forecast operational procurement needs and maintain inventory levels.

• Supplier Management & Compliance:

  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, compliance, and ethical standards.

  • Conduct regular supplier assessments and mitigate risks.

  • Ensure all purchased materials comply with relevant regulatory and sustainability standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Chemistry, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in fragrance, cosmetics, or consumer goods industries.

• Knowledge of fragrance raw materials and regulatory requirements is a plus.

• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems, specifically Netsuite.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
