- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of airframe static and fatigue stress analysis
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis methods
- Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6/3DX and ENOVIA
Responsibilities
- Perform stress analysis of metallic and composite structural components
- Author analysis documentation
- Create and/or utilize Finite Element Models (FEM)
- Perform Durability and Damage Tolerance (DADT) assessments
- Review engineering definitions for release in the product lifecycle system (PLM)
- Author structural test plans and reports
- Support development of stress analysis tools and methodologies
Education
- B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
