The Role

The Pantheon Site Experience Team at Pantheon is looking for a Software Engineer II, focused on improving the core software that our customers use directly. In this role, you will enhance Pantheon’s integration with WordPress and Drupal, ensuring our platform delivers top-tier performance, stability, and user experience for developers and content creators. You’ll work on building new services and maintaining existing ones that keep Pantheon at the cutting edge of web development. You will work on a wide variety of technologies, including Go, Python, Kubernetes and Google Cloud Run.

  • Passion for continuous learning on a diverse technical stack.
  • Desire to build new features and push the capabilities of the product forward.
  • Capacity to work carefully and meticulously, to ensure products are reliable and well tested, and deployments are stable.
  • Good writing skills, to contribute to technical documentation.
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.

What you Bring to the Table

  • 2-5 years of experience working in web development, delivering content using Drupal or WordPress.
  • Demonstrated capability to work with diverse technical stacks.
  • Strong back-end skills, including technologies such as RESTful and Graphql APIs, databases, and revision control systems.

The base salary range for this position is 80,000 CAD - 100,000 CAD per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. At Pantheon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
