Senior Robotics Engineer, Support Engineering Lead

Path Robotics is pioneering advanced robotics solutions to tackle industrial labor shortages through AI-driven welding robots. They seek a Support Engineering Lead to bridge operations and development teams, improving support processes and tooling while leading a growing support engineering team.

Skills

Strong Python and C++ programming skills.
Experience with robotics, path planning, and point cloud processing.
Familiarity with computer vision methods and vision sensors.
Exposure to machine learning concepts and applications.
Proficiency with Docker containerization.
Exceptional documentation and SOP development skills.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical teams.
Effective issue triaging and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as L2 support handling escalated issues and collaborating with developers for resolution.
Perform root cause analysis and develop expertise across all product subsystems.
Create tooling, documentation, and SOPs to reduce support escalations and improve operational efficiency.
Develop automated solutions and maintain comprehensive technical playbooks.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and customer success teams on SOPs and support metrics.
Lead and mentor incoming support engineering team members, shaping team best practices.
Track, analyze, and report support metrics and feedback to product teams.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
