Manager, DevOps & Data Engineering

PatientPoint is a leading digital health company focused on improving patient outcomes nationwide through innovative data-driven solutions. They seek an experienced Manager of DevOps & Data Engineering to lead and grow a technical team and advance scalable data infrastructure and pipelines.

Skills

  • 7+ years in data or DevOps engineering.
  • 3+ years in managerial or team leadership roles.
  • Experience with cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, Google BigQuery).
  • Knowledge of security best practices for data handling.
  • Proficiency in modern software development practices including CI/CD.
  • Experience in engineering large-scale enterprise data applications.
  • Familiarity with modern data architectures and data transformation tools.
  • Strong project management and strategic problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor data and DevOps engineers fostering growth and excellence.
  • Define and execute technical roadmap for data infrastructure and DevOps practices.
  • Build and scale data engineering teams to improve data pipelines and models.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding of top data engineering talent.
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Develop and monitor project timelines to ensure timely delivery.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions organization-wide.
  • Maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines.
  • Own and maintain CI/CD frameworks for data and application deployments.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for data platform and strategic direction.
  • Oversee automated data quality assurance and operational support strategies.

Education

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields preferred.
