The role reports to the Engineering Team Lead, based in Budapest, Hungary. Our team is made up of individuals from all walks of life, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives that enrich our work and culture. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, defect-free software solutions across Pepperstone’s trading platforms. You will design and execute robust test strategies, leverage automation tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability and reliability of our systems. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled QA professional who thrives on fostering quality engineering practices and driving impactful outcomes in a dynamic, global fintech environment.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you’ll lead the charge in ensuring high-quality software through advanced automation, innovative testing strategies, and seamless collaboration with development teams. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping tools, processes, and best practices to deliver exceptional user experiences.

• Enhance Automation: Build and optimize test automation frameworks and tools, ensuring thorough test coverage.
• Collaborate in Agile: Work closely with development teams to promote consistent, high-quality practices.
• Code and Innovate: Spend the majority of your time writing scripts and developing automation solutions.
• Refine Tools and Processes: Contribute to tool selection and improve testing methodologies.
• Advocate for Quality: Ensure products meet high standards, align with business needs, and delight users.

About You

• Experience: Proficient in Playwright & Typrescript
• Technical Skills: Skilled in Java or Kotlin, with experience in designing and maintaining automated test suites.
• Soft Skills: Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about improving processes and team capabilities.
• Education: A background in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with a strong commitment to continuous learning.
