About Us 

Private events and catering can significantly increase restaurant and event space revenue, but many venues are stuck using outdated, error-prone manual processes - unlike the sophisticated software employed by large chains. Perfect Venue is leveling the playing field by offering local restaurants and venues an affordable, user-friendly, event management tool to help local them compete with big chains. This is just the start, with plans to expand into a broader marketplace that includes other event services (DJs, florists, etc).

Perfect Venue is on a mission to make booking private event spaces easier—for everyone. We're growing fast and looking for a City Launch Leader to help us bring our marketplace to life in San Francisco.

In this role, you’ll be the boots-on-the-ground owner of our SF marketplace. You’ll focus on curating great venue supply, building relationships, getting the word out, and making sure the marketplace runs smoothly from day one. This is a highly entrepreneurial role that blends operations, marketing, sales, and community building.

What you’ll do:

Curate and launch amazing venue supply

  • Make sure every listing looks great— coordinate high-quality photos, accurate details, and compelling content

  • Keep listings fresh, up-to-date, and optimized to convert

  • Work with venues to update profiles as their requirements change (ie we add a budget field)

Drive demand

  • Create buzz through email, social, and local marketing

  • Host events that connect venues, Executive Assistants (EAs), and other key users

  • Reach out to EAs to provide demos of the product so that they know how to use it

  • Stay close to the community, listen to feedback, and make recommendations to improve the experience

  • Answer all venue inquiry requests from PV Marketplace

Deliver a great customer experience

  • Respond to concierge requests and help customers find the right venue quickly and easily

  • Make sure every lead has a clear path to booking

Measure what matters

  • Track performance of the marketplace—especially number of bookings—and take action to grow results

  • Share insights from the field to help inform our broader strategy
