VMware Engineer
Position Overview:
As a Systems Engineer specializing in VMware, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining virtualized infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of VMware technologies, providing support and expertise to optimize system performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware virtualization solutions according to client requirements.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of VMware environments to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Identifying and resolving issues related to virtualization infrastructure, including network connectivity, storage, and performance problems.
- Implementing and maintaining security best practices to protect virtualized environments from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support, open support ticket at vendors and guidance to internal teams on VMware-related matters.
- Manage system documentation and configuration process.
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering)
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on VMware technologies.
- Strong proficiency in VMware vSphere, vCenter Server, and ESXi.
- Experience with VMware NSX, vSAN, and other VMware products is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Nice to have: Experience with Citrix or VDI technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
