Position Overview
PHIL is seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic sales team. This role will focus on lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, and setting meetings with key decision-makers in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Reporting to the SVP of Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by building relationships and expanding our customer base.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers in healthcare and pharmaceuticals through cold calls, networking, and outreach efforts.

  • Qualification: Assess and qualify inbound leads and perform outreach to prospective clients, ensuring alignment with PHIL's solutions.

  • Sales Outreach: Develop and execute outbound strategies, initiate conversations with prospects, and build a pipeline for the sales team.

  • Appointment Scheduling: Set up meetings between qualified leads and the sales team, ensuring smooth transitions and handoff.

  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records in the CRM, tracking lead status and providing valuable insights to the sales leadership team.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and improve messaging.

  • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to inform outreach strategies and communicate PHIL’s value proposition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3-5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably within the health-tech or SaaS industries

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with decision-makers effectively

  • Proven track record of achieving sales or lead generation goals

  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and track performance

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools for outreach and engagement

  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed and contribute to team goals
