As a Firmware Engineer Intern you will be responsible for working on novel devices and prototypes. The work will be guided by senior engineers and leads and will include cross functional collaboration with the software, hardware, and research teams. Pison is pioneering the science of electroneurography (ENG), developing electrically-sensing devices that provide real-time insights into the state of the nervous system. As a Firmware Engineering Intern, you’ll work alongside seasoned engineers, contributing to the enhancement of our groundbreaking consumer and healthcare products. Your tasks will involve improving features of existing devices, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and collaborating cross-functionally with our talented research and software teams. You’ll also lend your skills to develop Python scripts that test our embedded device software. We’re looking for someone with experience in IoT or wearable device development, particularly using C/C++ and Python, and a keen interest in embedded systems focused on ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
