About the Role
The Mobile Application Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the PrePass mobile application by ensuring backend site configuration, monitoring system health, and providing Tier 2 technical or customer support. This role bridges the gap between field operations, network operations, and development teams, ensuring seamless operational continuity. This is a hybrid role based out of our downtown Phoenix corporate headquarters.
What You’ll Do
System Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Assist in testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting network and mobile systems, with a focus on backend site setup.
- Monitor and respond to system-generated alerts and notifications.
- Utilize tools such as Postman (REST API), Azure App Insights, Tanium, and DataDog for monitoring and diagnostics.
- Distinguish software bugs from standard system issues and escalate to development as needed.
- Query and analyze data events in Azure using SQL.
Issue Resolution & Support
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on issues escalated from Site Field Operations and Customer Care.
- Manage work orders and ticket statuses related to NOC-reported issues.
- Support new system introductions and rollout plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Development, Project Management, and Field Operations.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to support tool and process implementation.
System Configuration & Tooling
- Oversee site system commissioning workflows and activities.
- Create and maintain site tooling using scripting languages.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in software development, data analysis, or technical operations.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with REST APIs and tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools (e.g., Tanium, DataDog).
- Solid understanding of network monitoring protocols and system management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Azure and mobile application ecosystems is a plus.
