About Pylon
The $13 trillion mortgage industry at the core of the American economy runs on broken assembly lines with human-powered workflows, stitched-together software, and a series of capital markets intermediates. The costs to originate are at an all time high despite foundational shifts in technology.
Pylon is rewiring mortgages from the ground up. We are building the only API-first, programmatic infrastructure that fully automates credit, compliance, capital, and operations. For the first time, originators can build and scale mortgage businesses entirely through software, not people. Our team comes from Stripe, Better, and Affirm, and we are backed by Conversion Capital, QED, Citi, Fifth Wall, Peter Thiel, and the founders of Ramp, Mercury, Blend, and others.
About the role
We’re looking for an Implementation Manager to join our product team and lead client onboarding, from the first integration conversations to post-launch success. You’ll work directly with fintechs, brokers, and lenders as they embed Pylon into their product flows using our APIs, Command Center (loan officer dashboard), and out-of-the-box Elements components (borrower loan application and borrower dashboard).
Your role is deeply cross-functional. You'll work hand-in-hand with product managers, forward-deployed engineers, and account managers to ensure clients go live quickly, integrate intelligently, and build toward long-term success. You'll also bring structured thinking to our onboarding and support processes, helping create repeatable systems that scale.
If you’re energized by the challenge of supporting deeply technical products, navigating regulated environments, and launching real production workflows that touch consumers and capital markets—you'll thrive here.
You are expected to
Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new customers: from kickoff and integration design through launch and post-go-live support
Help customers think through how to integrate our API and Elements (our embeddable UI toolkit) into their workflows and user experience
Build and maintain a repeatable onboarding and scoping framework that allows us to support customers efficiently and consistently
Work closely with account management to align on joint success plans, customer KPIs, and timelines
Provide post-launch support to ensure continued success, including triaging issues and routing product feedback
Work with product/engineering to forward deploy customer integrations, influence roadmaps and help scope feature requests
Maintain deep product expertise and act as a consultative voice to help clients get the most out of Pylon
About You
You have a strong technical foundation and know how a platform product works - APIs, UI components, backend services
You’re a structured communicator who brings clarity to complex projects, internally and with customers
You love working cross-functionally and know how to build strong partnerships with product, engineering, and GTM teams
You’re energized by customers and thrive in live settings like working sessions, integration calls, or go-live check-ins
You enjoy working in zero-to-one environments and want to help build the playbook, not just follow it
Requirements
4+ years of experience in implementation, solutions engineering, technical account management, or technical product roles
Experience working with or integrating APIs and understanding developer workflows
Strong project management and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects across technical and non-technical counterparts
Experience in fintech, SaaS, or infrastructure products preferred
Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Bay Area (CA) or New York City.
