Marketing Intern - Part Time, Remote

Description

Are you a college junior or senior with a passion for marketing, content creation, and organization?  Quabbin Wire & Cable is looking for a part-time (10 hours per week), remote summer intern to support our marketing and communication efforts.  You'll get hands-on experience with digital platforms, content audits, campaign management, and more - plus the chance to contribute to real-world marketing projects that make a difference.

What You'll Do:

Support some of the following ongoing marketing and content management initiatives:

Email Marketing (Constant Contact)

• Review and update existing email campaigns
• Streamline and organize our contact database
• Explore compatibility/interface with our CRM tool, Membrain

Digital Content & Web Audits

• Audit website images:  Compare part number descriptions to photos for accuracy
• Identify and organize missing or incorrect image files
• Prep product samples and coordinate with photographer

Product Content & Specs

• Review and confirm product specifications (especially for part numbers)
• Ensure correct versions are published online
• Support our online Cable Finder tool

Website Support

• Audit website for outdated or obsolete content (e.g., product specs, technical articles)
• Assist with page edits, updates, and writing new content
• Help improve navigation and taxonomy

Sales & Catalog Projects

• Support harsh environment product catalog development
• Conduct part number analysis for sales and marketing teams

Social Media

• Create or support the creation of social media posts related to our products and projects

Requirements

• Junior or Senior in college pursuing a Marketing, Communications, or related degree
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own time
• Familiarity with Constant Contact, website content management, or light CRM tools a plus
• Interest in tech, manufacturing, or B2B marketing a bonus
