Contract Technical Design Manager

They seek a Contract Technical Design Manager with extensive apparel fit and technical design experience to lead the standardization of fit systems across multiple categories during a focused 4-month sprint with potential for full-time hire.

Responsibilities

Define and standardize fit blocks, grading logic, and fit tolerance systems across categories
Manage fit for select high-priority apparel categories throughout the product lifecycle
Align U.S. and Hong Kong teams, streamline tech packs, and improve fit feedback loops
Coach internal fit techs, developers, and vendors to elevate fit execution quality
Lead vendor workshops and train regional Technical Design teams on fit tools and standards
Serve as subject matter expert on fit components in the PLM and manage related SaaS tools
Track and report fit performance using dashboards, returns, and customer feedback data
Drive adoption and sustainability of fit systems across teams and geographies

Education

Relevant degree in fashion design, apparel engineering, or related discipline preferred
