DevOps Engineer, Configuration

Raft is a mission-driven small business specializing in distributed data systems and complex application development for federal and public agencies. We seek an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage configuration and deployment processes in a secure cloud environment, contributing to enterprise mission-critical applications.

Skills

Proficiency with Artifactory, GitLab/GitHub, and JIRA
Expertise in Helm for Kubernetes configuration management
Experience with branching strategies, release versioning, and deployment automation
DevSecOps methodologies and Agile full lifecycle experience
Proficiency with automated deployment tools in secure cloud environments
Infrastructure as Code knowledge including Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
Kubernetes monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentbit, Kibana, Loki

Responsibilities

Build, version, and maintain software configuration across environments
Leverage automated deployment tools in a C2S secure cloud environment
Own multi-site Kubernetes-based infrastructure deployment and configuration
Collaborate across development, integration, testing, platform, and infrastructure teams
Support configuration management of Infrastructure as Code

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
