Engineering Manager, ML Feature Platform

They seek an Engineering Manager for the ML Feature Platform to lead the team responsible for building and scaling the core feature store powering machine learning systems at Reddit, impacting hundreds of millions of users.

Skills

Strong experience with large-scale ML systems at high user volumes.
Expertise in building feature stores and feature engineering platforms.
Familiarity with open-source data stack tools like Kafka, Flink, Cassandra, Redis, and Ray.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Focus on scalability, reliability, performance, and user advocacy.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and evolution of Reddit’s ML Feature Store and feature engineering infrastructure.
Drive impactful projects aligned with Reddit’s engineering and business goals.
Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Establish best practices for production, consumption, and governance of ML features.
Collaborate with AI Serving, ML Training, and Infrastructure teams to enhance ML capabilities.

Education

Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
