Material Program Manager

Relativity Space is revolutionizing aerospace and additive manufacturing by building reusable rockets and large-scale 3D printing technologies. They seek a Material Program Manager to drive material demand planning and collaborate across teams to ensure efficient material supply for production missions.

Skills

Material planning and demand forecasting experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and ERP systems (Infor LN, SAP, Oracle).
Ability to reconcile BOMs and work with detailed material schedules.
Cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and finance teams.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional teams to derive material demand from complex BOMs and schedules.
Generate material requirement signals and collaborate with Procurement on acquisition strategies.
Manage mission-by-mission Material Readiness process ensuring alignment across organizations.
Develop and implement material allocation strategies for constrained materials.
Quantify material forecasts to support sourcing strategies and ensure smooth production flow.
Participate in MRP systems development to improve automation and accuracy in planning.

Education

Relevant degree or equivalent experience related to supply chain, materials management, or engineering.
